My name is Laurie Freeman. I am a Physician Assistant, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, breathwork and Reiki Level II practitioner, Army veteran.
I started meditating years ago as a way to tune inwards. But, I found meditation to be very challenging. My thoughts would take over and it was hard to find stillness in my mind. Or, I would fall asleep. There didn’t seem to be an in-between for me. When breathwork entered my practice, I was so engaged in the practice that my mind couldn’t take over. Breathwork shifted everything for me. I am learning how to have compassion for myself which in turn allows me to extend that to those around me.
It is a privilege to take care of others, especially in their most vulnerable moments. Over the years, I have seen so many people who, on the surface, seem so different from one another. Yet at our core, I believe that most of us are trying to understand who we are and where we belong in this world. We are navigating the relationships we have with others, and most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves.
I have a passion for supporting others on their path to embracing their true selves. It’s an honor to guide you in letting go of the habits and stories that are no longer serving you.
Each session will include intake, education, setting an intention, and your guided breathwork journey. I may also incorporate other healing modalities such as hypnotic meditation, aromatherapy, and energy work. We will end the session with reflection and integration of any feelings or realizations that may come up for you during your time.
